The new visual identity reflects a shift. While tattooing remains central, it opens space for the studio to grow into new formats, collaborations, and creative directions.
The system is built around the idea of skin as canvas. It develops through layering: image over image, type over type, analog over digital. Each output is shaped by process. Visually, it draws from sadFortuna's own language: flash sheets, experimental mark-making, and the range of styles within it.
The work includes a custom wordmark, typographic system, texture palette, and visual structure for both print and digital use. A flexible naming system was developed for events and collaborations, along with a set of assets for ongoing communication.
La nueva identidad visual refleja un cambio. Aunque el tatuaje sigue siendo central, se abre espacio para que el estudio crezca hacia nuevos formatos, colaboraciones y direcciones creativas.
El sistema se construye a partir de la idea de la piel como lienzo. Se desarrolla mediante capas: imagen sobre imagen, tipografía sobre tipografía, análogo sobre digital. Cada resultado está definido por el proceso. Visualmente, toma como referencia el propio lenguaje de sadFortuna: flash sheets, exploración gráfica y la diversidad de estilos que lo conforman.
El proyecto incluye un logotipo tipográfico personalizado, un sistema tipográfico, una paleta de texturas y una estructura visual pensada tanto para aplicaciones impresas como digitales. También se desarrolló un sistema de nomenclatura flexible para eventos y colaboraciones, junto con un conjunto de recursos para la comunicación continua.
